MICHAEL OLIVER from LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY Metal Detecting Services 0434 985 992 has had some interesting lost ring reports this week from underwater metal detecting Shelly Beach, Mona Vale Beach, Little Bay, Cronulla Beach for lost rings, Today I got a call from a distressed owner who's wife lost NOT one ring BUT 7 lost rings, when it rains it pours!! I spoke with her husband and found out they are on holiday from America and his wife is heart broken as 2 of these rings represent the birth of their 2 children, another ring with all the beautiful diamonds belonged to her grandmother plus another 2 rings are her wedding and engagement rings. It was late at night and they didn't expect me to come out so late, I explained it's Metal detecting season and if we wait till morning they might be found and NOT returned!! I reassure the owner and will see you in 30 minutes at the north side of Coogee Beach.

Now on location the search area is explained to me, there are 2 locations on the beach. I asked which location you want me to start? setting up the grid search I'm using my XP Deus ll metal detector to perform this lost jewellery recovery along with my Quest X-Pointer Pro.

10 minutes into the search I find plenty of bloody bottle tops, if I got a dollar for each of these I'd be a MILLION AIR. A few good T.ID readings on my metal detector all in one spot, I told the owner we are on the gold I KNOW IT!! The first target I dig is the gold ring with the green stone, I honestly first thought it was a bottle top. I explained when I find the first ring the others are normally close by. Using my metal detector I scan the surrounding area  and get multiple T.ID readings, the owners eyes light up with excitement and say this is like a treasure hunt!! I said 7 lost gold rings is the best treasure hunt a metal detectorist can dream of!! reaching down slowly removing the sand I find the beautiful diamond ring that belonged to his grandmother followed by the 2 rings from the birth of his children and the wedding ring and engagement rings follow just centimeters away from each other. All 7 rings have been found and reunited right here on Coogee Beach Sydney Australia.
