another successful recovery, last night I received a call out from Louisa. Last Sunday Louisa and her mates were playing football on Wanda Beach, when her silver necklace had been broken and fallen off. Not knowing it was missing till she got home that afternoon. A quick search on google she found my website lostjewelleryrecovery.com.au. After reading my profile Louisa was confident I could help. We arranged to meet the next day at 5:30pm, I was stressed someone might find it before then so I decided to start at 3pm. The search area was not precise I knew it was on the dry sand and the beach on high tide is narrow, so my chances of finding it along a 300 metre stretch of sand was good in my opinion. After a 2 hour search and plenty of trash and coins found, I came across a coin. Not knowing this was the first piece of the silver necklace, I continued to search then 30 metres from the first piece I hit a 34 on my mine lab safari. I was confident this could be it after locating it with my pinpointer and shifting the sand I see the beautiful silver necklace revealed. I was so excited it looked just as Louisa described it. After finding it I met a good bloke, Bill with the mine lab CTX 3030 Metal Detector, I asked him how close he came to finding the necklace so we checked out his GPS and he only missed it by 3 foot. While speaking with Bill we see a young lady walking down to the beach. Bill offered to film the exciting moment Louisa is reunited with her beloved silver necklace and she couldnt believe her eyes.
