Has been diving for owners lost treasures up and down the coast all week, I found 2 gold rings in Wollongong, Gold Chain on Shelly Beach, Engagement ring on Bondi Beach & a small silver ring on Maroubra Beach lost for 4 days.
Today I am called out to help find a brand new i Phone 17 lost in the Georges river for almost 2 days the owner tried using a magnet to find his new i Phone 17 with no luck, he tried diving in the water to find his phone again with no luck, a local man advised the owner to call Michael Oliver from LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY.
After speaking with the owner on the phone I was on location with in the hour geared up and ready to dive, the owner was stuck in traffic I had the search area already gridded and ready to go.
Too excited to wait I jumped right in and this location was loaded with trash old fishing rods trolleys, chairs. just about everything you can find at your local bunnings warehouse was also dumped under this fishing dock. Now 10 minutes into the search I've been caught up in fishing line having to cut myself free twice this location is dangerous to dive in without a knife on top of that the Georges river is well known for Bull Sharks!!
15 minutes later I see an object that looks like a phone hoping its the right phone as many people drop phones off fishing docks. I reach down through an old rusted trolley pick up the phone and straight away the phone switches on!! YES, she still works!! I'm NOT too excited as most phones I find for owners have just about all still worked good as new!!
I return to the surface with all my arms and legs still intact, It's a good day when your NOT Bullied by a Bull Shark!! the owner has just arrived thinking he's never going to see his phone again he asked Michael are you ready to find my phone? I replied, apologies mate I could not wait I was too excited to get in fast and get out faster to avoid the BIG FISH from nibbling on my toes. I found plenty of things down their one of them just happened to turn on and looks like this, YES!! that my iPhone 17 Michael thank you, I honestly thought my phone will be completely destroyed I cannot believe it still works after almost 2 days in the water!!
